GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT AND NOTICE

Wendy Fletcher Hardee (Pender County Board of Commissioner) District 2 has resigned effective May 17, 2024. She resigned to focus on her health and her ongoing battle with cancer.

The Executive Committee will meet May 21, 2024, at 7 pm to nominate her replacement until such time as a general election may be held.

If you are a registered Republican living in Pender County in District 2 and would like to be considered by the Executive Committee as a candidate to replace Ms. Hardee, please provide a brief “bio” with a statement of your intent for consideration to our secretary Lynn Norwood on or before midnight Saturday May 18, 2024. Ms. Norwood will acknowledge receipt of your email and if you do not receive an acknowledgement, please follow up with one of the officers.
