Pender County Board of Education District 4 upcoming Vacancy

The Pender County Executive Committee will be meeting in August to nominate a candidate to fulfill the soon to be vacant Board of Education District 4 term.
                
Our current Board of Education District 4 member, Ken Smith will be resigning his position effective August 13th as he prepares for his election to the Board of Commissioners this November.
We wish Mr. Smith the best of luck and the Pender County GOP will continue to support him in his new role.

For any residents residing in District 4 that wish to be considered for this opportunity, please advise the Pender County Republican Party of your intent.

The resident chosen for this appointment will also be the candidate that we will submit for the November 2024 ballot in our General Election. This term runs through 2026.
